August Changes for Pickleball
As August approaches, there are some changes to our pickleball schedule. As of August 1st, we can only use the outside courts. The school is doing deep cleaning in the gym and we will not have access until after school begins. When school begins, the outside courts can no longer be used during school hours. Ensure all participants have signed a liability waiver - either on the website or a paper copy available in the lock box. Please document court usage on the website, even if you use your own net. This documents usage and helps the Pickleball Committee continue to provide information to the Recreation Committee. This helps when we need to request new balls, nets. etc. from the Recreation Committee.Remember the outdoor courts are covered by a video camera. Thanks for working with the committee to keep pickleball alive and thriving in Otis.

Summer is upon us.
School is out for the summer. That means the outside courts can be used from 8 AM until dark.
Several things to remember when using the outside courts: 1 Ensure all participants have signed a liability waiver - either on the website or a paper copy available in the lock box. 2 Reserve a court on the website. This documents court usage and helps the Pickleball
Committee continue to provide information to the Recreation Committee. Our hope is to get enough usage to build an outdoor court to be used year round. 3 Remember the outdoor courts are covered by a video camera. Any misuse of school facilities (basketball hoops, picnic tables, swings, etc.) will reflect poorly on the pickleball community. Thanks for working with the committee to keep pickleball alive and thriving in Otis.
